YUGEN Love founder, Marguerite O’Sullivan, has Gemstones in her DNA. As the granddaughter of a Professional Gold and gemstone prospector, she has always had a fascination with these beautiful natural objects. She started collecting Gemstones as a child and eventually built a larger collection of over the years. In 2021 Marguerite began experimenting with making various visual works of art incorporating Gemstones, which eventually evolved into creating beautiful Gemstone and Pearl Jewellery. In early 2021 Marguerite joined the Goldsmith school in Bardon, QLD, to further enhance her jewellery crafting skills. Her intention is for those that purchase her handcrafted pieces to find Yugen within her unique creations.
